The Miami Dolphins have officially activated veteran tight end Darren Waller from the physically unable to perform list, the Miami Dolphins’ official X site announced a short time ago. This move comes a day before Liam Cohen’s Jacksonville Jaguars and Mike McDaniel’s Dolphins face off in their one and only joint practice session.
The Dolphins placed Waller on PUP at the start of camp -- which prohibits a player from practicing -- so that he could get himself into NFL game shape, and reduce the risk of injury, after spending last season in retirement. His agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said on WSVN-7 that Waller will be ready to contribute in the season opener.
