All of the evidence in the civil case against mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Conor McGregor has been heard. Nikita Hand is taking a civil court case against Mr McGregor and his friend James Lawrence, seeking financial damages for alleged sexual assaults which took place in December 2018.

Mr McGregor is facing an accusation in the civil action that he ‘brutally raped and battered’ Nikita Hand at a hotel in south Dublin in December 2018.

She has accused him of raping her in a penthouse suite in the Beacon Hotel in Dublin nearly six years ago. On Wednesday, Mr McGregor claimed they had consensual sex and that Ms Hand was neither distressed nor upset when he left the hotel later that day.
