At the outset of an end-of-season press conference with G.M. Chris Grier and coach Mike McDaniel on Tuesday, Hill’s status came up. Grier said that, on Monday, he and McDaniel has “productive conversations” with Hill. McDaniel later added that the meeting lasted an hour.

▪ Grier said “we are going to have to invest in the offensive line now. We are older there now.” Grier said he and Terron Armstead have spoken this week and “will have more conversations” about his future. “This is the time to start investing in some offensive linemen.”
