XI Racing co-owners Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan, along with Front Row Motorsports owner Bob Jenkins and NASCAR Chairman Jim France attended Monday's court session.

Today was the first preliminary injunction hearing in regard to the 23XI Racing, Front Row lawsuit against NASCAR. Following the hearing, representatives from both parties had two different priorities.

The first injunction requests the judge order NASCAR to grant 23XI and Front Row charters over the course of the lawsuit due to the irreparable harm of racing without one. He said without a charter, drivers and sponsors have opt outs in their contracts that could allow them to leave for other organizations.

XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports have had their motion for expedited discovery denied by the court. The request was filed earlier this month on the heels of the motion for preliminary

XI had its first in-person courtroom showdown with NASCAR during a Monday hearing over a preliminary injunction request.

A judge denied 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports' request for expedited discovery in their antitrust lawsuit against NASCAR over the 2025 charter agreement.

NASCAR submitted its rebuttal to the injunction requested by 23XI and Front Row Motorsports on Wednesday evening. The two teams have asked to be allowed to continue to race with charters in 2025

XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports squared off against NASCAR in court on Monday as the motion for preliminary injunction was heard by District Judge Frank D. Whitney in Charlotte.
