WEBAug 20, 2020 · First news here. If you look at the brand new 2022 BMC Teammachine lineup, it’s quite clear that Shimano is gonna release the new Dura-ace, Ultegra and 105 (yes 105) groupsets in Di2 versions, probably in the next weeks, all together.

WEBSep 12, 2024 · Also, I prefer having the ability to cross-chain sometimes. The drivetrain isn't going to explode if I briefly ride in small-small, and in some scenarios it's easier to do that than shift the front multiple times. I think Shimano didn't lock out the gears on lower tier groupsets because they work fine with that range despite being less efficient.

WEBOct 17, 2017 · Like many others, I’m using 12s Dura Ace and Ultegra cassettes on my wheels. I have several wheelsets, most of them with 11s Shimano freehubs. Two rear wheels cause shifting problems, both Farsports with RD-230 freehubs (35mm and 58mm). I can install the 12s cassettes and apply 40Nm of torque, all good, all straight.
Which mechanical groupset offers the best shifting?
WEBDec 5, 2022 · I've had both shimano 10 and 11 speed groupsets. And I've had 105, ultegra and Dura Ace in the past. My favorite is 11-speed Dura Ace 9100. But is that the best, that has ever been made? The frame is made for mechanichal shifting. I have di2 on another bike. So this bike os going to be for mechanical. And I'm not moving to Sram Etap.
